The 2017 edition of LIGNA, one of the world’s premier trade fairs for the woodworking industry, showcased a positive outlook and achieved excellent results.
Siempelkamp’s impressive stand drew a significant number of visitors right from the start. The large screen displaying continuous videos provided immediate insights into the Siempelkamp group and its diverse activities. A particular highlight was the glue blender presented by CMC TEXPAN, complemented by a new glue dosing system under development by Siempelkamp. This feature captivated many attendees, offering a tangible experience of the range of products and services available.
The stand’s staff was kept busy throughout the event, engaging with numerous professionals and potential customers from around the globe.
“There was more than just general interest; the questions were very specific and detailed. The expertise and versatility of our team were undoubtedly recognized and appreciated,” remarked Mr. Paolo Gattesco, Chairman of the Board leading the CMC TEXPAN team at LIGNA.
The growing trend towards smart production underscored the importance of efficient resource management. This focus brought significant attention to glue blending and mat forming, two crucial stages in particleboard production, for which CMC TEXPAN offers innovative and reliable solutions.
Sustainability was another key theme at LIGNA, drawing considerable interest towards facilities for processing recycled wood.
Operational safety also garnered significant focus, particularly concerning fire and explosion prevention and protection. As international regulations become increasingly stringent, these issues remain a top priority.
Discussions at LIGNA covered not only revamping projects but also new plant constructions.
“All these factors indicate an upward market trend,” concluded Mr. Gattesco, “which is not a sudden or random development but rather the outcome of growing awareness.”
