Colzate, February 2026 – Siempelkamp Sorting and Forming Solution (SFS) is proud to announce the supply of a system for managing and levelling sulphur pellets inside railway freight wagons, destined for a new natural gas processing plant in Kazakhstan.
The order was developed and engineered entirely by SFS, confirming the company’s consolidated experience and expertise in the design of special machinery for heavy-duty applications, such as those typical of the oil and gas industry.
The machinery is designed to manage and level sulphur pellets from weighed storage hoppers, ensuring their uniform and controlled distribution within the transport wagons. This process ensures reliable and safe management of the material, in full compliance with the stringent environmental regulations relating to the loading and transport of hazardous substances.
The project required particular attention to the extremely severe environmental conditions. The highly corrosive environment and wide temperature ranges required careful selection of the materials used and the adoption of specific surface protection treatments in order to ensure stable, reliable and long-lasting operation of the machinery.
This project confirms SFS’s commitment and ability to propose and develop tailor-made technological solutions, with a particular focus on the customer and their ecosystem.
The ability to integrate with heterogeneous systems gives these solutions great versatility, making them applicable in various industrial contexts.
This supply further strengthens SFS’s presence in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in the Atyrau region, consolidating the company’s role as a reliable partner in the manufacture of special machinery for highly complex process plants.
